A few miles down the road from me live two bachelor farmers. Neither of these brothers has ever been married. They have a beautiful dairy farm of about 160 acres.
They bake bread and do all of their own cooking. These guys are very intelligent and have even designed their own surveying instruments for contouring their fields.
They are know for their excellent crops and cattle. Sometimes, when I visit these two guys they have a tractor engine torn apart and are rebuilding it with ease.
They aren’t on the internet but they do have a couple of satellite dishes in their yard as they like keeping up with lots of sporting events; especially baseball. They both look younger than their age and keep fit with all of the exercise they get with farm work.

There is one very atypical thing about one of these guys: each year he still goes down to Florida for Spring Break.
… and it gets even better; are you sitting down? … he’s 63 years old.

Sitting at his kitchen table having coffee, I asked him how his trip to Florida was this past spring? He said that down there ‘everyone’ wanted to sit at my table. I sure bought lots of drinks.
Growing up and living in a very rural agricultural setting, he might be a little naive with relationships. The kids in Florida probably lead him along for freebies … but I get the impression he loves all the attention.
He’s happy and it seems that he has a good time on his annual pilgrimage.
He doesn’t ever go into the intimate details of his Spring Break journey … and I’m not about to ask.

… all I can say is more power to him 🙂

Drinks is cheaper than child support payments or alimony.

For real. Even if you are built like a competitive swimmer or lightweight UFC Fighter, and have the personality to go with it………..I just can’t see going to spring break after age 24. 24 was the last year I went. And even then I felt a bit old and out of place.

As much as I go nuts over girls half my age (I am 41), I simply know that there is no way in hell that I would have anything at all to say to them. And even if I did, they would just think of me as the creepy old man. Even if I were 25 I bet they would think of me as the creepy old man.

The way I look at it is……. although there are girls that go for older guys, most of them they look at a guy over 25 and think to themselves “This guy is a loser for going to Spring Break and hanging out with a bunch of college kids. He should be married and starting to settle down, have kids. He shouldn’t be doing body shots off of 18 year old girls. What a loser!”

That’s just my take on it. Could I be wrong? I doubt it. But I suppose it is possible that I could be wrong. I have been wrong before.

I have to +1 you.  You are spot on 100%.

I recently graduated with a bachelors (clinical psych)and I was an older student at the time (29).  I had a lot of male friends and every women I had a relationship in college with had daddy issues… I would hear women who I didn’t know, or never paid any mind to who were sitting close to me and in my classes say things like “isnt he too old to be in college or hes so old if he wasn’t cute he be a creeper, or grandpa made it to class.”  I cant tell you how many times my guy friends would say something to them to defend me. It was awkward.  Now these are women who just are in my class, not to mention I didn’t know them, never looked at them or even acted like they existed.   They are ruthless man, f~~~in heartless and ruthless savages lol, they remind me of cannibals.

I am back at a community college taking night classes so I can sit for my MCATS, the students are nicer, there are older people then me in class, and it is much nicer then the 4 year college I went to where they would savagely just talk and talk and talk.  If I could be there when 95% of those women hit the wall and to see the looks on their faces Id die laughing when they see all those wrinkles under their eyes, nose, neck and forehead lol…

Women can and are ruthless. Dont be fooled.

They are like the sirens who sing an amazing tune and lure you to your death as you crash on the rocks and drown.

@sjur

His life sounds idyllic, I would jump at the chance to spend the rest of my life on a dairy farm baking bread and repairing tractor engines free from the bulls~~~ of the modern world. Many 63 year old men have had their physical and mental health destroyed from years of slaving to feed the gynocentric machine but thanks to this relaxed lifestyle both of these men seem fit, healthy and happy.

If he enjoys his trips to Florida then I agree with you more power to him. He has survived all these years without getting hitched or trapped by the wimmenz so I don’t think he’s naive and he probably has plenty of money to buy a few drinks. I bet he doesn’t care what all those people sitting at his table think of him in fact inwardly he’s probably laughing at each and everyone of them.
