Men come out and are 2 years behind the women in academic progress and career advancement.

Hard to say how westernized this country located in Southeast Asia is like, but I am aware the number of divorces for marriages that has lasted 5-10 years is on the rise. Here people are less expressive of their problems and the publicised statistics on divorces and suicides are themselves questionable. However Singapore is rated one of the least happy nations on Earth, one of the lowest frequency in sex and the least in positive emotions among the general population. The culture here also puts money above everything else, so hypergamy (marrying up the social ladder) is a major component. My salary won’t attract any woman anyway.

My dislike for women already started from young from being beaten by my mother. My sister got preferential treatment from birth, so from an early age I learned to see females as the enemy.

My mother also made me feel uncomfortable about myself as a boy by dictating how I should see women in the “appropriate” way. Ironically she ended up achieving the exact opposite once I grew up and had access to mature content.

The closest I ever came to a girlfriend was in high school and being an introvert and other reasons it fizzled away before it started. Along the way more and more reasons piled up as to why I should stay single.

People around me keep arguing that I should have a partner because I will feel ‘lonely’. Heck I found being on my own was the best part of my life.

I think one of the major symptoms of this feminist bulls~~~ is that women think its their right to keep nagging at men, and this is a generational mother-daughter thing, passed down like an infection. Go figure.

All I know is nagging is the fastest way to get me exploding in violent anger. Conscription into a high intensity infantry unit, academic stress brought about by parental pressure and ultimately job stress in this f~~~ed up country has left me too psychotic and fed up with life to bother wasting time with any form of long term relationship with a woman.

So I draw.

Hey SoFDMC, we don’t have to “go figure”, we already figured it out, feminism has been passed down, and amplified on its way down from mother to daughter. You’re in the right place!

has left me too psychotic and fed up with life to bother wasting time with any form of long term relationship with a woman.

I just started on experimenting with radio for the first time. I bought an 8 band radio up with FM and AM (Shortwave 2.2-22.0 MHz and Medium Wave 530-1600 kHz) and experimenting with boosting reception and stuff. Attempted to make a parabolic reflector with a kitchen sieve and wrapped aluminium foil around it, then stripped out the insulator off an old mains cable to this experimental parabolic reflector to the radio’s in-built antenna and channel any radio waves.

Not sure if it worked, the reception was already good to begin with, but working on it I gained some experience with handling wires.

Other than that I like the sound of static in the morning.

Lower frequencies tend to hug the earth and go beyond the horizon, and skip off the atmosphere and land thousands of miles away, but obstacles break it up. I once communicated with a trucker from Tennessee when I had a CB. Higher frequencies wavelengths like FM go around obstacles without interference. I want to get a HAM radio but need to get an FCC license, same as citizens band (CB).

I wonder if I should have gotten a standard radio with that particular Long Wave band. I read on Wikipedia that radio wavelengths above 10 m gets blocked by the atmosphere: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_wave#/media/File:Atmospheric_electromagnetic_opacity.svg

The makeshift parabolic reflector does work in certain circumstances, it boosted what was otherwise static into some voices once I positioned it with the antenna at the focal point.

You’re describing a satellite dish LNB, it’s at the focal point of a satellite dish, but the azimuth and elevation (attitude) is critical to reflect the satellite signal onto the LNB (antenna). I set up my own dish/dishes, but now I don’t waste time watching TV, and I use to watch ALL channels for free…..TV is worthless, noneducational, and full of mindless bulls~~~……..
