No I’m pretty sure it can’t be that because we have already evolved from one of the worst kind (personality wise) monkeys that is now the chimpanzee (our dear cousin chimpanzee we have learned a lot from you, especially that bullying and balling biting is a normal behavior thank you scienctific studies for bringing that truth to light) so if they came from any other monkey they would be more peaceful instead or at least only just as bad.
