So during my lunch break I go out and grab something to eat and a newspaper. There’s a long bench table at a restaurant and I see a few metres away is two 45+yr old women in tight fitting dresses, high heels and all done up with makeup and s~~~ sitting at one end. Sadly, their peak attraction years are long behind them and no wedding rings in sight. This should be fun. So I go and sit at the other end of the table to eat and start reading the paper.

After a few minutes I can see out of the corner of my eye they are looking at me every now and then. I know they won’t attempt conversation with me because they will almost always wait for you to make the effort first, and I have none in stock right now. A lot of women here act like it’s a privilege that you get to talk to them, regardless of your looks, clothes etc.

I eat and continue to read the paper.

Their shallow and inane conversation continues. They continue to look around and at me. I eat and continue to read the paper.

They engage Harpy mode – their conversation gets a bit louder and then begin to preen and adjust themselves, their hair, adjusting their top, cleavage check etc.

Still ignored. Their conversation shifts to how they wish they could get a lift to where they are going and if only such-and-such was in town they could ring him.

Ignored.

The blonde one leans back in her chair, sticks her sun damaged bust out, flicks her hair, and then says loudly to her friend so I would clearly hear this: (I s~~~ you not)

“I’m one of a kind, why is it that I’m not married yet?”

I ignore them. They play with their phones a bit and then leave.

Some poor bastards will end up marrying them someday.

Can you imagine a female getting angry enough at being ignored to come at you and yell “I’M HOT! WHY AREN’T YOU F~~~ING HITTING ON ME, YOU PIG!!”

I always give ugly waitresses higher tips than the good looking ones too.

And where’s her undivided attention? It’s on the only guy in the room that knows she has the powers to utterly destroy him; he knows his position, and exits the ballroom to promenade with his love affair with FREEDOM.

The head of one of them was a cougar about my age.  She used to “hold court” at times and she’d be surrounded by manginas who thought she was “bubbly” and witty.  She would often position herself in such a way that it was easy to look up her skirt and many of her “courtiers” leaned back to get a better look while moving their hands towards their crotches.

How she got her job mystified me as she had few educational qualifications for it.  Mind you, considering that she was either married or shacked up several times (having a kid with each one, as I understand), it wouldn’t have surprised me if she got it by smoking pole or prominently displaying her bosom during her interview.

I thought of her as a brainless cow and I generally avoided her and refused to be a fawning mangina.  But, because of that, she had a low opinion of me and might have helped spread rumours that I was, well, you know…..  (After all, isn’t being middle-aged, unmarried and unattached a sure sign of it?)
