My name is Alex. I am a man, who currently resides in Great Britain, but I am not British. Yesterday, on YouTube, I noticed a reference to this movement in form of five letters and got curious about it, since the essence, the meaning of these words is a choice I have made when I was 19 years old. Meaning, that was the point, that I have decided, that I do not want to marry at all and build my life among my aspirations, pursuing my ambitions and simply being able to breath without the weight of marriage on my shoulders. What led me to this decision?

Long another yet tragic story short. I have been dating a women, who simultaneously dated two guys, for which I had suspicion, but didn’t have the b~~~~ to face the truth.  Short, because I don’t want to remember, but will be long in relationships, because I need to remember and address this, otherwise it became like a small trauma which I am trying to escape from. to which ball application is required. Anyhow.

I am a day old creature in this forum  I have questions related to this movement.

• Is a movement, in itself, in any way active?
• What core values, besides those in about section, anyone would add?
• How does members of this forum feel about more ‘radical’ movement, which would serve the same cause but is more active?

As far as I have found out:

• MEN GOING THEIR OWN WAY is a passive movement which encourages men who are fed up by modern male-female relation in social structure, as well as hypocrisy in law, attitude and feminism ideas itself, to go their own way.
• Meaning of main slogan is defined by the movement author himself.
• Buttons (3) down there are amazing!

we are not active beyond our own lives-“go your own way”

the core value of this movement is the rejection of gynocentrism and its manifestations, ie. marriage, traditionalism and feminism etc.

again i refer to the first thing i said- a movement wouldnt work simply because it is based on the premise that wider society actually gives a f~~~ about the wellbeing of men, they dont- all you can do is save yourself.

We don’t roll out the red carpet for others, while they condescendingly insist we wallow and trudge through the mud.

MGTOW is the highest form of respect a man can have for himself. MGTOW places feminism in the PIGS trough it deserves to remain in.

MGTOW is personal and direct action against this gynocentric society.

MGTOW is a lifestyle that says “I’ve had enough! I’m not going to take it anymore!

MGTOW says “send this s~~~ souffl’e back to the kitchen and have all the kitchen staff eat it them selves!” then quietly leaves the restaurant to go home and cook for yourself….

Well, there are obvious advantages. Being a man requires acting upon his word, not talking about it. This, directly does that.

MGTOW is an organic movement

Couldn’t have said it better tower. I have long felt as though it can’t be called a “movement” in the normal sense as there is no predetermined direction. It is relative to the individual, “moving” away from that aims to burden him unnecessarily. There really isn’t an end goal for it is fluid. We aim for Sovereignty in a fluid taste. A will of steel strength, and an evasiveness akin to someone trying to capture wind in bottle. Being physical is a definite NO, and is pretty much unnecessary. You don’t have to argue with feminist, White-Knights, nor gynocentrism. But you don’t have to save them either. Simply go your own way…
