Of course emotional and physical violence against men is funny, against women is criminal.  Where is all the equality I’ve heard so much about?  Is this a double standard?  SHOCKER!

Hyper-sensitivity lives on!

There was a drive at work to support breast cancer awareness month and they wanted pink ribbons and banners and all this other bulls~~~ all over the office.  I vetoed it unless there was equivalent attention given to men’s prostate cancer and all money collected was to be divided equally between the two causes.  I am sure the astronauts on the international space station could hear the women screaming loud and clear.  I do believe  however that the men’s laughter was louder.  Since a consensus could not be achieved on that stipulation, I told the chicks to “take it to the streets, and keep it out of the office”.

I have gotten exorcised enough to write the CEO of companies that advertise on these shows. I told them I was not going to buy their products because of their ads. Loss of sales they might understand. Girls hitting boys does not bother them; they glorify it.

Edit: I’m still doing it from time to time. I always send an old fashioned paper letter through the mail. The CEO’s office address can be found with a bit of digging on the web. I assume they discount emails, but I send them in addition.
