One of my quirks is trying out ideas different from my own — perhaps to refute and reject them but always to seek new thoughts.

@experienced, you are right. The resemblance must be on purpose. Is it an illustrator’s attempt to flatter, like a painter doing a monarch’s portrait? Or, was it done at the explicit instruction of King R? “Make it look like me, but not skinny. Oh, no urban sophisticate sweaters, either. Go for the manly lumberjack look.”
