Later in the day (Monday)  I was summoned to the Human Resources (HR) Department so I reported as requested.  The HR chick asked me why I have never invited any of the females (both lateral and subordinates) to attend the games as my guest.  I was surprised by the inquiry but not shocked since we are on a “politicaly correct” course of action.  However, since I out rank her and the inquiry had nothing to do with my duties related to employment, I felt no obligation to answer any questions regarding my leisure activities.  So, I told her it was my prerogative and I would not be interrogated about it and I left the interview and returned to my office.

Yesterday I was called back to HR by the director, who is lateral to me in rank but lower in seniority.  He said that my interaction with the HR chick, his subordinate, caused her great distress and so she filed a report about it and is recommending “sensitivity training” regarding workplace equality.  I told him I would not be doing that EVER, and she can take her recommendation and shove it up her ass.

To my surprise, he thought she was “off the hook”, but he was required to talk to me about it (which I knew).  He actually agreed with me and even said that she has been “troubled by me” for some time now because I’m not “friendly enough” with the females and I never include them or interact with them in any work related social events or leisure activities that I enjoy with the male counter-parts from the office.  I told him I didn’t care and suggested that he inform her that she needs to get over it or get a sex change operation if she wanted to be included.

There is only 1 other employee who has more seniority than me and he owns the company.  I have decided that it is going to be my single mission and purpose going forward to get that woman fired.  By the end of June she will be unemployed, I will see to it to be sure.  I cannot allow her poisonous hatred of male bonding to infect a well run, profitable company.

I find it incomprehensible that a miserable, bitchy, unhappy woman would go to this length to help the “girls” feel more socially desirable.  Incredible.

Enuff is Enuff.

Men and women enjoy different social activities.  Men MUST enjoy crap women like but women are not required to enjoy what men like.

So this is currently the situation in the 21st Century Western society, like it or not:  If a woman feels “great distress” orfelt intimidated by the way he talked to me” then there must be a company policy against it OR, in the VERY LEAST!!, there has to be a law protecting her feelings against this type of male “aggression.”

This is how girls are raised.  This is how women really think.  I’m sure she’ll retell the story…”I felt like I was being raped.”

I remember about 35 years ago, my dad was in charge of starting up this office in a town we moved to.  The office ended up being him and 5 of the hottest babes in town…and that was it.  And I guarantee he was f~~~ing all of them!  I thank god my dad didn’t live long enough to see how much of a pile-of-s~~~ society has become.

Good Question – – – I have every intention of finding out who the architects are so that I may be better prepared going forward. . . . I have the advantage of possession of master keys to everywhere in the building and a password for everything on the mainframe.

I’m going to be doing some “social engineering” of my own around here.

high-five to you for your response to that little girl-masquerading-as-an-adult. Not that you would, or should, but I believe that if you (as a senior member of your company) had invited any female from your company to an off site, after hours social event having nothing to do with work, you would have most likely been labeled a sexual harasser, creep etc…

I wonder if you could turn this around and complain that no woman in the company has ever bought you a ticket and invited you out to a baseball game, and you want to file a complaint that they are not treating you equally? Since this little girl works in HR, she probably has access to a copy of your job description, which does not include the responsibility of inviting women out to events of work on off hours time in order to make them feel more socially desirable. (laughing here) –> Maybe you could file an OSHA complaint that you have been given an oppressively high work task to do on your own time with your own money and the company is not compensating you for it.

I would not underestimate this little girl. I am cynical enough to suspect that the real agenda is to prod the company into creating social outings for all employees that the company pays for in order to foster ‘team building’. Your solution is to have her fired. Her solution will be that the company pays for a company outing once a month on the company’s dime. If she succeeds in having it voted on, all the women will vote for it. And as soon as it becomes a company policy, you and your buddies will find yourselves required to attend ballets and poetry readings and whatever other estrogen saturated activities the girls come up with.

Of course you and your buddies won’t go, but the girls will still have found a way to get the company to pay for their social activities outside of work…

Maybe I’m just cynical, or paranoid. But in medicine, we have an old guideline we follow regarding tumors that can’t be verified for certain as benign: No tumor ever metastasized from a jar on the shelf in the pathology lab…

Hey BrainPilot,

You make some good points, but alas, I cannot file any complaints against her because I am part of the “executive staff” and we don’t have the same procedures and policies as the “oppressed class”.   We have to just suck it up and deal with it.

Funny you mentioned the company outings, that has been tried and I and several of my colleagues put the big fat kibosh on that bulls~~~.  Even if we had such things, I would never attend them.  I apparently “don’t play well with others” according to some of the women in HR, but then again, I don’t have to if I don’t want to.  Rank does have its privileges.

Her days are numbered, she needs to update her resume.
