Will likely be limited and very hit/miss depending on how the games are ported.

After reading the article: Nice collection of games and it’s good that they come on disc, too!

I really do distrust anything downloaded via Xbox because much of it is in their “xbox live arcade” or “on demand” sections. If a game is in either of these sections it will not work without an internet collection rendering the entire collection worthless if your net goes out or if you would like to play these games when the Xbone is old news. Discs aren’t a perfect solution, but it’s nice to know I will have some games that may be playable when the servers go down!

Has anyone heard if they are using the censored or uncensored versions of the games on disc? I know Xbox’s version of Conker’s Bad Fur Day was chopped to bits by the censors which leaves me wondering as it’s not the only “Rated M” game in the collection. I also hope the older games are ported well. I already see borders around the games measured in bits (ex: Battletoads) and I know the Xbone’s controllers are nothing like the NES. I also hope you can pick between high def and not as well as play with filters as some people still use CRT TVs (look ma- no input lag!) and others just hate the “high def fuzzies” and filters.

Beauty fades, dumb is forever.
